About Us

Anezina Village is located in the hamlet of Drios on the south-east coast of Paros Island, Greece.This part of the island is famous for its long sandy beaches, traditional tavernas and the view across the cobalt blue Aegean Sea to Naxos.

It is more than 50 years since Anezina opened her restaurant, having been catering for the local farmers from her own kitchen for some time. As Greece and the islands were becoming a popular tourist destination, the hotel rooms were built on the upper floor.

In the late 1980’s, Maria, who is Anezina’s second daughter, took over the responsibilityforthe business and graduallydeveloped the land to the rear of the hotel, where there are now 9buildings which house 17 traditional apartments, all set within flourishing gardens.

In the gardens between the hotel and the village apartments is a modest swimming pool and the Anezina Café Restaurant, which has replaced the original restaurant.

Whether your holiday is for quiet relaxation or for active participation, Maria and her team look forward to welcoming you to the ‘Anezina Family’.

Cooking Lessons

I grew up on Paros with my mom having one of the first restaurants on the island. I have wonderful memories of watching her cook, so from a young age, cooking become my passion! Now, I love to share my passion, experience and grandmother’s amazing recipes with my guests!

Amazing cooking class in a gorgeous place! We booked the cooking course at Anezina Village. We can honestly say that this was the best activity of our holiday! We had so much fun and the food was delicious. The host and owner Maria is super nice and we were able to chat a lot with her! The whole staff was great! We end up staying the night there and enjoyed it a lot! Such a nice cosy family-vibe place! Would love to come back! As we came in the pandemic period, we were the only people that did the cooking class. So that was a big advantage! So if you are in Paros around this time, go to Anezina village!

Maria was extremely welcoming and friendly. We stayed in a garden apartment which was basic/rustic but with all required amenities AND one of thé most comfortable beds during my stay in Paros. Extremely good value for money. Amazing breakfast in the beautiful garden (with pool). Everyone was so friendly. I only realised later that Maria also provides cooking classes which I will definitely do next time. Thank you again Maria for making us feel so welcome.

We stayed in Anezina village for one week at the beginning of August. It was very comfortable, the rooms clean and spacious, the breakfast very good with home made jam, the restaurant served delicious cooked plates, the pool area very relaxing! Congratulations to the host and all the staff for the high level of hospitality we received, especially to the lady on the breakfast filtering the kids orange juices. On top, all covid measures were strictly followed. You will need a car to explore the island, though. We strongly recommend this hotel!

We were recommended this place by a good friend&we made the right choice.Maria the owner is a wonderful host&she has a gorgeous set up in her Anezina Village.Our room was comfortable&spacious and had a well stocked kitchen for self catering.Why would you need to though when the cuisine in the restaurant is top notch &Fresh,bountiful&delicious.We were there on a Monday night when Maria hosts a Greek night with live Greek music&typical local cuisine.If you opt to join in on this night she even caters for Vegans like me&everything was wonderful. If you choose to stay here you will no doubt be spoilt by the warm friendly staff like we were.

Comfortable and welcoming - great place to stay!
What an amazing stay! The pool was a welcome reprieve after a hot day of travel, as well as long days of site seeing and beach going. There was a nice beach with good tavernas just a walk away, as well as amazing food at the hotel and across the street at Anna’s Restaurant. Anezina’s also does a Monday night Greek night with food, music and dance that was so much fun! The entire complex was comfortable and welcoming.

The owners and staff are extremly warm,welcoming,accomodating.The units are very clean and well maintained. Location excellent. Day trips and activities are interesting and available. You really experience Greece in a relaxing setting . We have been there twice and plan on revisiting again!
